Thank you so much for your teaching on the 501c3 church. My husband got very angry with me several months ago when I told him I would no longer go to church because it was 501c3. I even emailed the pastor about the issue which infuriated my husband to no end. Today my husband went to church. I told him the pastor would not say anything about the homosexual marriage ruling. My husband told me repeatedly that the pastor would certainly address it. I watched the sermon online because they have a live stream. NOTHING was said. Not even a single prayer for our country. NOT A WORD. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to the 501c3 issue. I didn't have to go to church and be shocked that the pastor was spineless.

About 6 years ago I was convicted and repented before God about me and my wife getting a marriage license 19 years ago. I repent not of my marriage but seeking the state to do so. First of all a license is permission to do something that is illegal. It also means you are entering in and agreeing to abide by the contract set forth by the state, in which the state has all authority and jurisdiction. Which includes the children and property that come over the years from the union l. And the couple agrees to this when they apply for the marriage license to get the state's approval. The pastor unknowingly acts as an agent of the state and seals the deal when he says, by the authority invested in me by "God ?" - No! by the State I pronounce you husband and wife. You have granted the state to be the arbiter of the marriage. This is why social services can take your kid by just calling you unfit with no evidence or jury. They have there own judges called family court that rubber stamp there actions and give you a gag order as they do it. And we unknowingly gave them jurisdiction to do so when we made the state the head of the marriage. Though with my lips as a Christian I say Christ is the head of our union. But in realty as the ink was drying my actions said other wise. That is why I had to repent. Because like Judas I was betraying the Lord with a kiss.
So if a pastor is going to barrow the states power to marry people then the state has a right to tell the pastor he has do marry two men and a dog, or whatever. But if a pastor refuses the state license ceremony, but douse a marriage on the authority and the bases of God's word, then the state has no part nor say because it is a matter of faith and practice. If the state douse not recognize the marriage so what. God douse! The couple can get power of attorney for hospital visits. As far as benefits, well first of all God is one's source. And second of all, the last I checked; if the states considers you shacking up then you qualify for more benefits then having one of those state issued marriage licenses anyways.
